Homes quickly go under contract in the neighborhood of Macaulay, in Huntersville, NC, such as this gorgeous home located at 14500 Harvington Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078

When showing homes recently in the subdivision of Macaulay, in Huntersville North Carolina, I noticed an interesting phenomena. Homes go on the market and, if reasonably and competitively priced, sell within days of listing.

Sold prices are running near asking prices as the demand for a Macaulay home goes up. The community is quite attractive with it’s neo-traditional and craftsman styling, and a sumptuous community pool/club house and play area are extremely comfortable as evidenced by the large numbers of residents who regularly escape this summer’s suffocating heat and humidity there.

Huntersville, as a community, has been experiencing exponential growth in other neighborhoods like Monteith Park and Vermillion as well. Both of these developments are also burgeoning “purchasing dollar strongholds” as values and demand continue to rise.
